Blast from the Past

I put together a photobook for Mom for her birthday on Shutterfly not too long ago.  While looking for pictures, I came across some cute videos from 2005/2006.  I was home for Christmas during my first year at college, sleeping on the couch (as Jeff had stolen my room) when I recorded these with a brand new webcam I got for my birthday.  Adelle was about 20 months old.  She loved to sing.

 

She's singing the theme song to Veggie Tales.  And then the Sing Sweet Nightingale song from Cinderella (which was her favorite movie).  This was recorded on December 29, 200

 

This is from January 5, 2006.  Lydia apparently has always hated being filmed.

This one is from May 2, 2006.  She was two.  When I came to visit we'd practice spelling her name with sidewalk chalk.  She could draw A's and L's pretty well.

It's amazing how fast kids grow up, isn't it?  And how quickly time passes without realizing it's going.  Of course, time is going really slowly at the moment as Phil and I wait to hear about his visa.  Crawling by.  Hopefully my next post will be about him being approved and a wedding date...
